Natural Resources

Water is a precious natural resource on earth, where the life of the subject.
Water covers some 70% of the earth's surface, yet only 35% of it is fresh water. Of these, 25% are located in the polar ice caps, and only 15% is in rivers, lakes, ground water and ground water is suitable for use in water. (Only 0.0035, it is immediately available to us, and groundwater).
Approximately 70 percent of the world, as the images are to be used for agriculture. India makes use of up to 90% of the water used for agriculture, 7% from industry, and 3% are for home use only.
People depend on the water for almost all of the development-related activities.
The excessive use of water for drinking, irrigation and domestic purposes has led to a rapid depletion of ground water in various regions, which has resulted in a decline in the water table.
The pollution of the ground water, groundwater, and has many of the wells to be useless.
It is estimated that by 2024, nearly two-thirds of the world's population will experience severe water scarcity.
Ground water:-

About 9.86% of all fresh water is obtained from groundwater.
There is a layer of sedimentary rock, which is characterized by a high degree of permeability and the water is hot ?????????? in the sky.
An aquifer may be of two types: an unconfined aquifer and an unconfined aquifer.
Non-sealed water-bearing strata, which are placed between two porous rock layers, and feed it to the places where the aquifer intersects the surface of the earth.
The water is not static; it moves, it's very, very slow.

The influence of ground water:-

If the extraction of the ground water level is higher than the price of a complement, the result is increased by ?????????? the condensation is on the horizon, it is a phenomenon that is known as land subsidence. This will cause a lot of damage to the decrease in the parent's land surface area.
Pumping of groundwater on a large scale in arid and semi-arid areas. This leads to a sharp decline in production in the near future, due to the decrease in ground water level.
If the salt water is greater than that of water, the soil, the water level will gradually increase, which will lead to waterlogging and salinity problems.
Flood:-

In some countries, such as India and Bangladesh, the rainfall is not the whole of the year, and 90% of it is concentrated over a few months (June-September).
The heavy rains often cause flooding in low-lying coastal areas.
Long-term rain can also cause rivers and lakes to overflow, which could lead to flooding.
Deforestation in the Himalayas causes of floods that year after year, it destroys the plant and destroying the homes in the river Ganges and its tributaries.
During the high tide of the sea, it has lost a lot of valuable land.
Severe flooding due to the great number of the Himalayas, and the storm in the 1970s were drowned close to a million men, and, in 1991, was murdered 1,40,000 people.
Drought:-

There are about 80 countries in the world, located in the arid and semi-arid regions that experience frequent periods of drought.
If the annual precipitation is less than normal, and there is less evaporation, and dry conditions have been created for.
Overgrazing, deforestation, mining, etc., etc. The causes of the severe drought.
False, intensive crop, structure, and in the more intensive exploitation of the raw material, and water in the wells and canals, in order to ensure a high level of efficiency, appeared to be resistant to drought areas in the decertified ones.
In the state of Maharashtra, has not recovered from a severe drought during the past 30 years.
